We are excited about the new rollout which will occur in June, 2010. In anticipation of this, we are in the midst of planning state-of-the-art end user training. We have begun embracing the Learning Accelerator software(online training development tool) to support the training program. Core Financials & Purchasing The teams have just completed the first of three prototype test iterations. It is hard work, but the teams are excited to see things coming together as they process representative Cherry Creek transactions through the Lawson system to validate their design decisions. Prototype testing will continue into March. Core HR & Payroll This project phase formally kicked in December, 2009. Core project team training began at the start of the new year and will continue into mid-February, when the team will begin working on the design of the new system. Go-live date for this implementation is January, 2011 Budgeting/Planning, Strategic Sourcing & Contract Management The Go-Live date for this implementation is October, 2010 Student Activities & ECS This implementation includes Student Activities and Extended Child Services. Go-live date for this implementation is April, 2011 |

Apriant (an outside consultant). We are pleased to report that Lawson was selected as the vendor for this project. Lawson is a leader in providing state-of-the-art Enterprise Resource Planning software. With board approval, the Cherry Creek School District purchased the software and hardware necessary and has now begun the design phase of the system.
